In 2001 a few Pender County independent members of the North Carolina Bowhunters Association (NCBA) got together and decided to organize a local chapter. At that time there were no other chapters in the eastern part of North Carolina. A few names were kicked around and we decided upon Cape Fear Bowhunters!
Cape Fear Bowhunters (CFB) began with 10 members, and now in 2010 we have grown to
